DUCHARME-JONES are an Americana Roots-Pop duo consisting of husband and wife singer-songwriters, Dave & Annie Ducharme-Jones. The two were introduced by mutual music friends in northwest Iowa at the end of their teens and their chemistry was immediate. They made their way to California where they worked on original music and performed in Marin County and around the San Francisco Bay Area for seven years.  After reading an article in Rolling Stone magazine and ready for a change they packed up and headed to Austin, Texas where they performed and called home for 25 years before making their way back to Des Moines, Iowa. Inspired by a lifetime of different musical influences, the couple began co-writing in 2012, producing and releasing their first album Strangest Things (2016)Vagabonds & Poets (2019) followed, and was hailed as one of Iowa’s top ten records to hear in 2019 by Iowa Public RadioTheir latest compilation Unbroken (2021) was written and recorded during 2020 on their home studio during the isolation of the pandemic.

 

Currently they are also co-producing a weekly series, along with Scot Sutherland and Russ Tomlinson, Monday Night Live @ xBk Live in the Drake Neighborhood in Des Moines, IA. The series features the trio performing with guest artists performing original music. 

Past performances include 2021 Central Iowa Springiest2019 Winter Blues Fest, PorchFest 2019 in Kansas City, Oskaloosa Art Center Winter Concert Series, The Botanical Blues Winter Concert Series, SpringFest at Jasper Winery, The Okoboji Store. They've shared the stage in support for  The Nadas, Carolyn Wonderland, Smithfield, Anthony Gomes, and regularly perform in venues, wineries and breweries around the Des Moines Metroplex.
